Her journey with her son Brian taught her the power of early intervention, patience and never giving up. After a delayed speech journey and consistent speech therapy, Brian found his voice at nine, a milestone that strengthened Rhoda’s belief that every child has their own timeline.
Today, Rhoda is passionate about encouraging parents and caregivers to seek early support, embrace their children’s journeys and celebrate every milestone.
As Autism Ambassador Mombasa 2026, she hopes to use her voice to remind families that they are not alone, and every child deserves to be seen, supported and given the opportunity to thrive.
