Leo Thoronjo is a 17-year-old autistic student whose journey is a testament to resilience,

schools, Leo never gave up on his dreams. Today, he is a Form 3 student at Kerugoya Boys, proving

that no challenge is too great to overcome.

Beyond academics, Leo is making a remarkable impact in autism research. He currently works with

PhD students at Aga Khan University, contributing to groundbreaking studies on autism. His artistic

talent shines through his work—his latest piece was a special drawing for a researcher, showcasing

the power of creativity in self-expression.

Leo has also been a voice for autism awareness, sharing his experiences through interviews to help
